The following statements may be difficult to accept at first but ALL are Biblically true none the less:
1) All water baptisms in the New Testament (early church) were in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
2) No one in the New Testament was ever water baptised with the words, "in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost" spoken over them.
3) All water baptisms in the New Testament were by immersion, not one person was ever sprinkled.
4) Not one infant was ever water baptised in the New Testament.
5) All water baptisms in the New Testament were for the remission (forgiveness) of sin.
